We’re coming up on the final week of the summer semester and yes, it’s still hot! But while we’re all trying to stay cool, let’s take a moment to say thanks to some deserving folks.
I would like to thank the FV campus community for their generosity during the annual food drive. This year, we filled all five food barrels and donated nearly $350 to Operation Food Search. Thank you!
Kudos to the winners of the second quarter Safety Program for 2012! To be eligible for the quarter, each department must complete monthly training, inspect the department for hazardous conditions, and have no injuries for the quarter. The winners are:
Day Housekeeping – 7 quarters
Building/Grounds & Shipping/Receiving – 3 quarters
Evening Housekeeping – 3 quarters
Maintenance/HVAC– 6 quarters
And finally, Roy Shaneberger, associate director of Human Resources, is retiring at the end of the month. Roy, thank you for your service to STLCC!
